Comments (primary residence)

"I have found that members of the LGBTQ community are comfortable with SK and vice versa. They are not mutually exclusive groups and so it is entirely welcome for people to be both LGBTQ and in SK."

Comments (secondary residence)

"I've found a lot of people living in McCormick to be very conservative and a bit closed minded. For this reason, I plan on moving out next semester. In Sigma Kappa I feel the vast majority of girls are extremely accepting."

"I used to wonder if I joined a sorority, would I have to completely hide the fact that I am also attracted to girls so I could avoid making people uncomfortable. But I've found that almost all of the girls I know who are open about their own same-sex sexual experiences are girls who I know and have met through my sorority, which completely blew my mind and surprised me in a wonderful way."

"Its all about finding a place you feel comfortable. I think for the most part I've encountered people here who are very accepting of others. There are obviously exceptions to this but find your friends and they will respect you for who you are."

"SK is a great place to live :)"
